The lightning collection, History, is a nod to the past and a tribute to the designers who worked with light and lamps long before us. We stand on the shoulders of centuries of design tradition that has been gradually refined and developed. History emphasizes the proud tradition, but with a little twinkle in the eye. The starting point is one of the most iconic lamp shapes: the slender conical frame of soldered wire with a light source in the centre. Throughout history, we haven't seen much of the frame, which has been hidden behind beautiful lampshades with changing visual expressions and shapes. In History, however, there are no lampshades, instead the frame finally comes to light and gets the attention that the shades have received for centuries.
