Originally trained as an upholsterer before continuing his education and becoming a furniture designer, Erik Ole Jørgensen designed the spindle sofas and armchair in 1978. In time they would rank among his most famous creations. With the solid black or matte-lacquered frames, in FSC-certified oak from European forests, the series has always highlighted top quality and functionality. And now, adding to the range of beautiful colors already on offer, come exciting new upholstery options, in the form of “horse blanket” fabric and leather in either black or cognac.
