Since the early 1990s, designer Philip Bro (b. 1962) has been creating unique designs for Danish companies such as Georg Jensen, IKEA, Royal Copenhagen and, not least, LE KLINT for whom he has designed modern variations of the company’s classic lamps. He bases his design on the Danish design tradition with an eye for function and sustainability, yet with a playful, aesthetic style at the same time. Philip Bro emphasises that he wants to infuse his products with a lyrical quality, because otherwise he doesn’t consider the design successful.
