Originally created for FDB Møbler, the wooden-barred sofa series is one of his most famous designs, consisting of this J146 chair, the J148 two-person sofa, and the J149 three-person sofa. Environmentally Conscious Design The J146’s frame is matte-lacquered oak from FSC-certified trees from European forests. Its Crisp fabric upholstery is New Zealand wool, beautifully woven and certified by both OEKO-TEX and EU Ecolabel. The stylish fabric acknowledges the popularity of multicolored cloth that lacks a pattern but offers a vibrant, variegated surface. It boasts good stretch qualities and exceptional wear resistance, and is naturally dirt repellent.
