Isabel Ahm graduated as a furniture designer from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2007. She has had her own design studio for more than ten years where she studies everyday life among the Danish population. The ways we eat, sleep and spend time together. Based on her studies, she designs furniture to meet individual needs and habits. Her design solutions address everyday challenges. Her first assignment for FDB Møbler was the Astrup dining table with Dutch pull-out. Isabel Ahm has already received a number of accolades, not least after participating in the TV programme ‘Denmark’s Next Classic’ on DR1.
