The product of FDB Møbler’s first collaboration with designer Isabel Ahm, in 2019, was a beautiful, simple dining table, whose arrival marked the launch of the Åstrup line. A coffee table was the next addition to the series, and now FDB Møbler is proud to complement the table with a new dining chair. As she did with the table, Ahm cites the human body as the chair’s inspiration: Its design makes clear reference to a strong pair of shoulders supporting the arms and head, and supporting the seat as well, making for a clean, organic look without visible joints. The gently curved seat and backrest, with their appealingly light feel, offer comfortable seating whether at the dining table or in some cozy corner of the home.
